"I'm incredibly grateful for the journey I've had and where I stand today. Being a part of the very first batch at SWSC was both humbling and exciting. The experience I gained there still lives with me — from the supportive and down-to-earth faculty to the lifelong friendships I built. I majored in Marketing, and today, as the proprietor of FishyFlex Aquarium in Basundhara, I can confidently say that the leadership training and skills I learned at SWSC have played a big part in shaping my path. Today, as a karate champion and a Premier League bronze medalist, I look back with deep gratitude. SWSC believed in me when I had nothing, and that belief helped shape the person I am today. Southwestern State College was the place where I truly found balance. It wasn’t just about textbooks and exams, SWSC gave equal importance to sports, and that meant everything to me. Because of that support, I was able to focus on both my academic journey and my passion for karate. I went on to win gold medals at the 7th and 8th South Asian Games, and today, I’m proud to be working as a karate trainer in different schools. I’m genuinely thankful to SWSC for believing in me, for uplifting me, and for creating an environment where both my dreams could grow together, in the classroom and on the field. It’s a place that shaped not just my career, but who I am.
